Privacy and questions¶
Is it cheating?¶
No. Everything the add-on shows you is something you could see with your own eyes and write down with a pen: which hands a player played, what they showed at showdown, how often they raise. It does the writing for you, and the arithmetic.
It never sees hidden cards. It never acts on your behalf. It cannot click Fold, Call or Raise. Replay staff have looked at it and are fine with it.
Coach's opinion
The cards do not know the chips are free. A flush still beats a straight, a raise still asks the same question, and the pot odds are the same arithmetic. What changes is the people. Replay players call more, see more flops and fold less on the river, because losing costs nothing but chips that come back tomorrow. That makes some real-money advice wrong here. Bluffing works less. Value betting works more. Thin folds matter less than thin calls. Studying your play-money hands teaches you how the game works and how you actually behave under a clock. Both carry over. The habits you build here are the habits you will bring anywhere.
Does Replay allow it?¶
Yes. The add-on was built with the knowledge and approval of ReplayPoker staff. It is not affiliated with ReplayPoker.
Does it collect anything?¶
No. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no adverts, nothing that phones home. The only website it ever talks to is Replay itself, using the login you already have, to fetch your own history. The privacy policy is short and says the same thing.
Is it free?¶
Yes, and it stays free. No premium version, no adverts. Replay Suite is my own work and is licensed rather than open source; the builds are free for everyone. It is supported only by donations: here is how to help, if you would like to.
I installed it and nothing happened¶
Reload the Replay page once. If the icon is not at the top of your browser, look under the puzzle piece (Chrome, Edge) or the extensions button (Firefox) and pin it.
The badge is not showing for someone¶
You have not seen enough of their hands yet. The badge appears once there is something worth saying. Play on.
A hand is missing¶
Hands that arrive damaged (a slow connection, a page reload mid-hand) are skipped rather than stored wrong. The add-on fetches them back from Replay in the background when it can. You can also run Recover from ReplayPoker in Settings, Data.
My tournament result is wrong or missing¶
Tournament results come from Replay's own history and can take a few minutes to settle after the tournament ends. The add-on checks again on its own. If a tournament is still wrong a day later, say so in the forum thread with the tournament number.
Can I use it on my phone?¶
No. It is a browser add-on for a computer.
Can I move my hands to another computer?¶
Yes. Back up on the old one, install the add-on on the new one, then Restore. Settings and your data.
